Happy Mother's Day...or Not

Little did I know when I recorded this video last year that I would be part of the “Not” group this year. So yes, I have to admit, I am sad today. And, if you are like me and this is your first year without your mom (or maybe it’s been many years), my heart goes out to you, and I am praying for you.

I will spend today remembering my mother and honoring her by striving to carry on her legacy of compassion, giving and love.

And I will remember that though I grieve, I am not alone. My God has promised to never leave me nor forsake me. Therefore, I rest in Him and look forward to the day when I will once again see my mom.

Blessings!
