Wednesday Wisdom - Staying Grounded

If you want to keep from being weighed down by the stress and worries of life, stay rooted in God’s Word. Charles Spurgeon once said, “A Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.” When we are grounded in Scripture, we are less likely to be distracted or pulled away by life’s troubles because we’re walking the path God has prepared for us.

Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” So today’s Wednesday Wisdom is simple but powerful—make God’s Word your daily foundation, and it will keep you steady no matter what comes your way.
