There’s nothing wrong with desiring success in life—we all want to do well and accomplish our goals. But I often remind myself of these powerful words from Mother Teresa: “God has not called me to be successful; He has called me to be faithful.”
True success isn’t measured by titles, wealth, or recognition. It’s found in living faithfully, serving God, and walking in obedience to Him. That’s the kind of success that matters most.
One day, I long to hear the words from Matthew 25:21: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” May we all keep our eyes on what truly counts—faithfulness to the One who called us.
