Tuesday Thoughts - Increased Faith

I want to be open with you today — lately, I’ve felt like I’ve been walking through a dark season, and honestly, it seems to have been getting darker. But this morning, I came across a quote from Charles Spurgeon that stopped me in my tracks:

“To trust God in the light is nothing, but to trust Him in the dark – that is faith.”

As I sat with those words, I realized how true they are. My faith hasn’t felt very strong lately, and I wasn’t even sure how to make it stronger. Then, two scriptures came to mind:

📖 Luke 17:5 — “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’”

📖 Mark 9:24 — “I do believe; help my unbelief!”

And that’s exactly where I am — crying out to God, “Help my unbelief.” I know He is real. I know He loves me. I know He’s holding me even now… yet I’m still struggling. But here’s the thing — I’m not giving up. I want that kind of faith that knows, without a doubt, that God is with me even in the darkest moments.

If you’re struggling too, you’re not alone. Let’s cry out to God together, asking Him to increase our faith. I know He will! 💛
