Tuesday Thoughts

Do you ever find yourself dreading prayer or skipping it altogether? Sometimes it’s because we’re looking at it the wrong way. Prayer isn’t meant to feel like another duty to check off our list—it’s so much more than that. Prayer is a privilege, a sacred opportunity to sit with our Father and share our hearts with Him.

E.M. Bounds said it beautifully: “Prayer should not be regarded as a duty which must be performed, but rather as a privilege to be enjoyed.”

Today, I encourage you to shift your perspective. Don’t see prayer as a burden—see it as a blessing. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to speak with your Father, and let it become a time you look forward to each day.
