Thankful Thursday | Worship While You Wait

This week, in honor of Women’s History Month, Women of Life is highlighting the Unsung Heroines of the Bible.

On Monday, we learned the courage to stand.

On Tuesday, we learned the courage to speak.

On Wednesday, we learned the wisdom to move.

Today, we meet Anna — a prophetess who teaches us how to wait with gratitude.

After losing her husband, Anna spent years worshiping, praying, and trusting God in the temple. Her waiting was not wasted. When she finally saw the Christ child, she immediately gave thanks and shared the good news with others.

Her story reminds us that we can worship while we wait.

📖 Luke 2:36–38
