Thankful Thursday

“Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me.” – Psalm 103:2 (NLT)

Life doesn’t always go as planned. Hard seasons hit—unexpected losses, financial struggles, health concerns, or broken relationships. In those moments, it’s easy to feel discouraged or overwhelmed, even forgetting how many times God has already carried us through the darkest valleys.

But Scripture reminds us to “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). And when I pause to reflect, I realize something powerful: God has never failed me. Not once. His faithfulness runs deep, and His track record is flawless.

So when trials come—and they will—choose to fix your eyes not on the storm, but on the One who calms it. Trust Him. Lean into His promises, like the one in Deuteronomy 31:8: “The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Friend, don’t wait for the breakthrough to praise Him. Praise Him now. Not because everything is perfect, but because He is.
